You walk into a room with shelf after shelf of parchment. On a stand sits a bright white firelizard. Bent over a table is a woman with black hair streaked grey, pulled up in a tight bun. Suddnely, a brown watch wher lunges at you from the shadows! It's stopped, thankfully, by a thick chain.

The woman looks up from her work to see you, and shouts at the watch wher, "It's okay Hecubus! It's a friend!" Hecubus calms down at once and waddles toward you, sniffing. "Hello visitor, I am Macy the letterkeeper. Do you wish to send a letter to the Weyrwoman?" You nod. "Kopaka will take your message to her." The white flit flutters down onto her shoulder.

"Or for a faster way of communication, IM her. Just state that you are messaging from the weyr or somewhat, she likes to just chat too!"
