Welcome to the Northern Wastes, a desolate region of snowy plains and mountainous terrain. Here the resident wolf pack of the Inferno resides, created by the lone Sholeh after she sought refuge away from the clamor and noise of the weyr. Slowly the pack grew as she brought home and raised her offspring as well as other sponsored pups.

With the arrival of Streea, Sholeh's mate, Sholeh herself began to distance herself from the pack life once more to pursue her own endeavors. She visits often and is can easily be summoned by her mate, wanting to keep an eye on her little family that grew so quickly in the unforgiving landscape.

The pack is named Kulggen d'lil Trezen, which means "Shield of the North" in Drowish. It is commonly called the Shield Pack.
