T'rsh watched Orayath as he lay on the ledge, sunning himself. It seemed that just yesterday he'd Impressed the large blue.
Orayath? he queried. The blue let out a peculiar grunt and lifted his head.
Yes, rider mine?
"Do you still want to transfer to Dawnsisters? I've gotten quite used to it here." T'rsh looked hopefully to his blue, who had stood and stretched his wings.
I take it you no longer wish to change? Orayath asked, grinning.
"Well, if you don't want to that is....where ever you feel comfortable." he shrugged and stood to lean against the blue's side.
I'm fine with staying...now that we're not weyrlings I can fly Thread my own way instead of under that crackpot H'nal's guidance
Orayath grumbled and apologized to Frenath who, to his surprise, agreed. Kalis burst from between and dive-bombed a bowl of meat T'rsh had left for him.
There has been one thing that I was pondering... the blue began.
"And what's that?"
I would like to chase somewhere...Seiryuu always caught my fancy. And I have seen a beautiful silver raindow green there, Oruntworepth.
Orayath's mind-voice took on a swoony quality at the mention of the female. T'rsh snickered and the blue glared down at him.
What's so funny? I can like her if I want!
"I never said you couldn't!" he said, holding up his hands. "You just sound so funny." With that T'rsh broke back into a fit of laughter, leaning on Orayath for support.
Humph, just like you did when that Lelandra girl went off to Tiynarea...
"Hey now, that was different.."
Orayath snorted, Hardly..
The two caught themselves bickering and T'rsh settled it with a firm nod. "Alright, I'll sign you up for Oruntworepth's flight." He imitated Orayath's swoon voice when he said the silver rainbow green's name and had to run out of the dragon weyr laughing when the blue charged him.
