Eusyscth grumbled and pulled her wing across her face, attempting to block the ray of sun that had irritatingly crossed ir. "'Bout time you woke up, lazy cub." Solange teased. She'd been up since first light, an old habit that would die hard. I am not lazy, I'm a growing dragon that needs her sleep! the red-white striped green dragoness snapped and rolled over, facing away from the light. "Uh-huh, be that as it may, we both need to get to lessons or we'll be late." The healer-bear said firmly, placing her hands on her hips and nudging Eusyscth's side with her toe. I'm not going...
"Not going? We have to go, and I can't go without you, obviously. Why don't you want to go?" Solange was incredulous; her dragon, not wanting to go to weyrling practice? The dragoness merely made a grunting noise in her throat and buried her head more firmly in her wings. "C'mon, tell me...you know I'm always here for you." she said in a more tender voice, lowering herself next to the weyrling and placing a hand on her neck. They make fun of me, I know it... Eusyscth said after a moment. Solange nearly laughed, but restrained herself at the last minute, it would only hurt the sensitive dragon more. "Oh sweetness, they don't make fun of you! You're all learning, you're entitled to be a little...awkward at times..." She was speaking of an incident the previous sevenday, when her dragon had fouled a wing in takeoff and done a firm nose-plant in the dirt, sliding off into the lake. "You'll grow into the most graceful dragon of the lot." Eusyscth raised her head and looked at Solange. You think so?
"I know so."
